BCE’s Hal Van Aller returned from the annual Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) Conference that was held in Colorado last month. This year’s event brought together professionals from across the country to discuss critical issues in dam safety, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure. We had the opportunity to attend insightful sessions, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with passionate experts dedicated to making our communities safer. Hal’s presentation on utilizing BRIC grants for dam removal was well received and sparked conversation on how a solid understanding of the Benefit-Cost Analysis is critical to the application process.
