Each year, the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) hosts the nation’s largest conference dedicated to floodplain management and similar topics. BCE was happy to sponsor and attend this year’s event, which took place in Salt Lake City, Utah and highlighted the critical importance of flood risk mitigation while fostering invaluable connections among professionals dedicated to safeguarding communities against flooding. BCE’s President, Scott C. Blossom, was impressed by the number of opportunities for networking, continuing education, and industry advancement:
