BCE is part of a contractor led team to deliver services on VDOT Environmental Division’s Statewide Wetlands, Streams, and MS-4/TMDL, Planning, Implementation, Maintenance and Monitoring.  BCE stabilizes infrastructure and protects property. Our approach integrates innovative techniques and creative solutions to ensure both long-term resilience and client satisfaction. BMP implementation, stream restoration and distributed stormwater approaches are all important in meeting Chesapeake Bay TMDL Standards and State thresholds, and BCE recognizes that there is a critical need for continued alignment with Infrastructure Stability, Watershed Implementation Plans and Regional Management Strategies. In addition to the design (as engineer of record) and review of hundreds of BMPs throughout the State, our team has spearheaded regional initiatives including the evaluation of innovative nutrient and sediment reduction strategies and has been involved in the implementation of miles of stream restoration and acres of wetland mitigation throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific Northwest.
