BCE staff are certified through the Virginia DEQ as Program Administrators for Stormwater Management and are Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Reviewers holding Professional Engineering licenses in Multiple States.
BCE performs with a professionally diverse high performance team covering complete project review of regulated land disturbance activities and associated planning and design for erosion and sediment control and stormwater management in various localities in NC and VA.
Project Summary: BCE provides stormwater and erosion and sediment control plan review for linear utility projects in Virginia and North Carolina, assisting in VSMP Compliance through professional engineering design and review. As the certified stormwater plan reviewer on the contract, BCE is responsible for plan review of stormwater and erosion and sediment control (ESC) plans for thousands of feet of planning and installation of utilities for Dominion Energy. As the plan reviewers and certified stormwater professionals, BCE is responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) review of engineering services provided and associated communications. In addition, BCE has provided FEMA floodplain review and shoreline stabilization review associated with facility location and consulting for stormwater management and culvert design.
Project Role
As certified stormwater and erosion and sediment control plan reviewers and inspectors, Blossom Consulting and Engineering, Inc (BCE), is responsible for assisting in VSMP and MS4 permit compliance and providing detailed technical reviews and strategic planning. BCE assists in the management and coordination of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan review for multiple projects located throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
In addition, BCE is certified in advanced traffic control planning through ATSSA and provides traffic control plans for linear utilities in the transportation corridor.
